“New Divide” was released as a single on May 18 2009. It was specifically recorded as the theme for the film – Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen.

The song has received acclaims from critics and fans alike for its aptitude and appeal as the movie’s soundtrack. In the United States, “New Divide” debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, the band’s highest debut to date.
